Solstice
07:07
|
|||
Silent are the trees as they gaze upon me
Burning bright the embers of the night
The ancient ritual carved in stone
Shall be heard once more
The forbidden words are spoken
A frenzy of lust
The altar looms above me
In splendour and majesty
The echoes of voices reach the flock
Wild and untamed they seem
The cold night air warms my spirit
The pagan earth rejoices in its feast

Memory
07:27
|
|||
I stand beneath a blackened sky
As the waning moonlight fades and dies
And I wonder if there will ever be
A day when it shall cease to be
Ghost of dawn, bring forth your light
Illuminate my way, regain my sight
For night brings memory, memories of loss
Guide me along these paths of dust
Ghost of night, take your leave
For in your presence, I must grieve
As light is to life, so is darkness to death
Restless is my slumber, dust is my bed
And there will come a time
When day and night unite
And all that was and is
Will be a memory

Reverie
07:21
|
|||
Awaiting the coming of a second spring
Returning ever to secret haunts
Seeking the solitude of this ancient forest
Listening ever for cries forlorn
And as was long foretold
The pipes of the goat-horned shall sound once more
And all shall rise and follow him
To revel in the second coming of spring
